The Azores high is still situated further N than normal for the time of year and at 1042mb it is higher than usual. Over the next few days the high will drift south and we will have light to moderate trade winds slowly increasing in speed. A trough of low pressure is expected to develop over the Sahara on the 24th and may drift westwards over the route.
During today the wind will be light mainly from the N slowly increasing and veering through the day to NE 8-13 knots.
There will be bands of cloud and rain early this morning. There will; be some sunny spells with a moderate chance of showers as bands of cloud reach the island.
The maximum temperature is expected to be 23C.
